Welcome to my blog...

I have been transformed by the power of Christ in my life. I have seen growth through the Spirit in myself, my wife and my family. I am not suggesting that I have "it" all together, but the process of sanctification is certainly working. Christ is active in my life and He is in yours as well.

"I Will Take Hold" is a blog, birthed out of my desire to walk with men, women, families, young adults, teens and youth in their walk with Christ. I know that all around us there are men and women that are running to Jesus in almost every moment of their lives. That is my passion. That is my hope. I want to grab a hold of all around me and RUN to Christ.

In those days men from the nations of every tongue shall take hold of their friends, saying, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’ (Adapted from Zech. 8:23)

My personal mission statement is to declare the Supremacy of God found in the Gospel of God through Jesus Christ.

I am married to an amazing woman. I know that she belongs to Christ and that she belongs to me. She also happens to be my best friend. We also have six fantastic kids. They challenge me to be a great father and a great man. I love them all.
